Who we are and who controls your data

ColJobs is a personal AI career platform operated by Digit2AI LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Florida, USA, based in Wesley Chapel, Florida. For the purposes of this policy, Digit2AI LLC is the "data controller" — the company that decides how and why your personal information is handled. When this policy says "we," "us," "our," or "ColJobs," it means Digit2AI LLC.

You can reach us about anything in this policy, or to exercise any of your rights, at info@digit2ai.com.

The one thing to understand first: ColJobs is public by design

ColJobs exists to get you found. When you create an account, we build you a public personal CV website at your own address (yourname.coljobs.app) and give you AI agents that score real job postings against your résumé and rewrite your résumé for a specific posting. The entire point of the product is for recruiters, hiring platforms, and automated AI sourcing tools to discover and read your profile.

Because of that, your CV page and several machine-readable versions of it are public and are meant to be crawled. Specifically, the following are published and openly accessible unless you remove the information from them:

These files are designed to be read and merged by AI recruiting and sourcing systems. That is a feature, not an accident. We want you to understand it plainly before you upload anything.

You stay in control of the sensitive parts. In Settings, you have per-field privacy toggles. The following fields are OFF (private) by default and are only ever published if you choose to switch them on: email address, phone number, exact location, compensation, work authorization status, and security clearance. When a field is switched off, it is deleted from every public surface listed above — not merely hidden behind a setting. If it is off, it is not in your public page, not in resume.json, not in the JSON-LD, not in the agent card, and not in llms.txt.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, an optional phone number, and a password. We never store your password as plain text — it is stored only as a scrypt hash, a one-way cryptographic transformation that we cannot reverse back into your password.

Résumé and profile. When you upload your résumé, we parse the file into structured data (your name, contact details, work history, skills, and education) and also keep the raw extracted text. You may add an optional profile photo and your location. This is the core content that becomes your CV site, subject to the privacy toggles above.

Job activity. Which postings matched you, the fit scores produced for them, the pipeline stage you assign to each opportunity (for example: saved, applied, interviewing), and any inbound messages recruiters send you through your public profile.

Usage analytics. Page views of your public profile, referrers (where a visitor came from), and whether the visitor was an AI agent fetching your page. We store IP addresses only as a salted hash — never in raw form — so we can measure activity without keeping the actual addresses of the people who view your page.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. ColJobs stores only Stripe identifiers, transaction amounts, and your card's brand and last four digits. We never store full card numbers on ColJobs servers.

Where job postings come from

The job postings we score you against come from public applicant-tracking-system (ATS) job boards that ColJobs reads. Reading flows one way: ColJobs does not send your personal data to those job boards. Applying to a job is always something you do yourself.

AI processing and the companies that help us run ColJobs (subprocessors)

To run ColJobs, some of your data is processed by trusted third-party providers. Some data leaves our servers to reach them. We name them plainly here, along with what they do:

We do not sell your personal information to any of these providers, and they are permitted to use your data only to perform their service for us, under obligations of confidentiality.

How your information is shared — and who decides

You decide what is shared. Your personal information is disclosed in only the following ways, and in no others:

Outside of these paths, no one else shares your information. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, we do not trade it, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising or marketing. You remain the owner of your information: you decide what is public, you can make any of it private again at any time, and you can export or delete it whenever you wish.

Legal bases for processing

If you are in a jurisdiction that requires us to state a legal basis (such as the EU or UK under the GDPR), we rely on the following:

How we protect your data

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but these are the concrete measures we take.

Security incidents. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and any relevant authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Your full export is always available to you (see below), including after you cancel. If you delete your account, we remove your data. If you simply do not renew, your public site goes down and your web address (yourname.coljobs.app) is released so it can be reused — while your data export remains available to you.

Your rights

You have real, exercisable control over your data:

For users in the European Economic Area and the UK (GDPR), you specifically have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For California residents (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. ColJobs does not sell your personal information. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

To exercise any right, email info@digit2ai.com. Note that your public profile is, by its nature, public — the strongest tools you have for controlling public exposure are the per-field privacy toggles and account deletion.

International users

ColJobs is operated from the United States, and your data is processed and stored in the United States. If you use ColJobs from outside the US, you understand that your information is transferred to and handled in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children

ColJobs is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age, and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact info@digit2ai.com and we will remove it.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single session cookie so you can stay logged in, and browser local storage to hold app state (such as your interface preferences). We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not run advertising networks on your profile.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other companies' websites, and there is no industry-standard response to browser "Do Not Track" signals — so we simply do not engage in that kind of cross-site tracking in the first place.

Aggregated and de-identified data

We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information — data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you — to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the service. Because it cannot identify you, it is not personal information and is not subject to the restrictions above.

Third-party links

Job postings and other links may lead to websites we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; review their own policies before providing information to them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continued use of ColJobs after an update means you accept the revised policy.
